I noticed, looking in your profile that KBin refers to your boston content as a ‘thread’ while lemmy calls such things posts.
There are ‘posts’ in kbin, so maybe you need to make a new ‘post’ on kbin.

I did make a microblog on that boston community, and it showed up on lemmy.

Based on the state of lemmy, I’m guessing the microblog->post issue is on the lemmy side of things.

I just dislike people typing to when they mean too. And enjoy reading some etymology from time to time.
Does that make me a linguistics enthusiast to?

I’ve known so many people who are so into anime, and every now and then I give anime a shot bc they keep harping on about show x or y. 9/10 are just so full of cringy sexually repressed representations of women/girls and interactions with them that no quality of other storyline could make up for it. Other times, the ‘fan service’ is more manageable. This real, personal experience definitely taints how I initially perceive anyone who brings up anime.

Lol, agreed, some typos are not a problem. But other times, words like to/too, I read as completely different words. And often, that “typo” (I think people honestly are just using the wrong word, not mistyping) will require me to

1. Read
2. Recognize the error
3. re-read knowing that there is an error

Which is aggravating.

I left because the way they went about killing third party apps. Bad faith notification, shit communication, and slandering Christian.

Do you want one? Will you use it? Could that money bring you more happiness in the long run used in some other way?

These are the kinds of questions I ask myself before spending >$50, usually prevents me from regret.

Don’t tell any datahoarders about this, you’ll make them cry. I don’t fully ascribe myself that title, but this hurts me.

I want to replace my iPhone 11 Pro bc the faceid scanner is broke. (Someone didn’t close the drybag properly and some water got into the phone through the earpiece)

I got my chair and my wife’s from an office furniture liquidator. They buy in bulk from companies that are going under or just upgrading. There will be some truly abused chairs in the lot, but most of the Herman millers and SteelCase hold up very well.

Look up used office furniture / office furniture liquidators, and get yourself a high quality chair for maybe $300-400 on the high end.
