I downloaded rednote and tried to upload a video today and couldn’t get it to work. The first couple of tries the video was choppy and out of sync with the sound and then I couldn’t pick a cover, etc. I’m hoping they are just being crushed by increased traffic because I’d really like a proper global platform

Edit: so I was able to post a video and it seems fine. I think the editor is buggy because the video was definitely fucked when I hit post, but it uploaded without the choppiness

They definitely do? Surplus is more than just extra shit sitting in storage until you need it. You gotta maintain that equipment, which requires people, time, and money. If the equipment isn’t maintained it would be just as useless as not having it at all. Obviously there is a line somewhere when it becomes too costly to maintain surplus equipment and it’s better to get rid of it.

Then you can either patiently wait for one of the friends to invite you to something or drop hints or straight up ask if anyone wants to hang out. If you wanna get wild, do it when your best friend is busy with something else.

Idk, I’m not good at having friends so I feel like my advice is probably bad here if you want to maintain your relationship with your best friend, but if the other people want to be your friend and you want to be their friend, your best friend should help that happen, not prevent it
