The standard way for guitar or bass amps to be hooked up to a live sound system is via microphones. Buying loud amps just for playing shows is something that should stay in the past. My personal opinion from working shows is the less onstage volume the easier it is to mix front of house and provide good monitor mixes to individual members of the band.

Soooo close; generally only condenser microphones require bias power, which is called phantom power in the professional audio world. Dynamic, ribbon and piezoelectric microphones do not need phantom power as the movent of the diaphragm directly creates the output voltage that is measured and applying phantom power does nothing, with the exception of ribbon mics which destroy themselves. But yes the 5v bias is the third connector to enable electret condensers microphones to work.

There’s a small army of cookies and local storage data on any of their sites. Private tabs are devoid of cookies and storage data on initial launch which starts YouTube in its default state. Unless you’re clearing cookies and storage every time you visit YouTube they’ll track you.

I wish we would spend that on maintenance and expansion of the electric trolleybuses. Makes more economic sense in comparison to electric battery electric buses. Or spend more on conventional buses and staff, since private car usage is far more environmentally damaging than a diesel bus fleet.

There’s got to be a reliable equipment manufacturer out there with San Francisco’s trolly bus and cable car network being the largest in the us 🤔

ATRAC was developed for Sony’s MiniDisc format. ATRAC was updated with version 2, then version 3, version 4, version 4.5, and Type R and Type S.

The first major update was ATRAC3 (not to be confused with version 3 of original ATRAC) in 1999. 1
