ActivityPub. It’s a protocol just like SMTP for email. It allows these different platforms you mentioned to interact with each other. They all together form the fediverse.

That might be a server issue. Lemmy.world is still having performance issues and just like the picture in this post we are all seeing many errors often.

It’s an American thing. If you live anywhere else probably use WhatsApp so you don’t have that problem.

What’s the difference between the navigation drawer and floating buttons? Both do the exact same thing or am I missing something?

Can you add support for custom tabs? Thanks!

Custom tabs are browser tabs opened “in app”, you won’t leave Summit when opening a link in a custom tab.

So basically you have 3 options, open “in app” using Android’s WebView, open a custom tab using the default browser, or open externally on the default browser.

Custom tabs are in between and the advantage is that you don’t leave the app but the tab is created, I think, by the default browser so if using Firefox with uBlock Origin it’ll also work on the custom tab.
