The grease in my face
With that more peaceable label
Plant eaters avow

To be able to face
Not on my plate nor my table
But a kind curious bovine
Left to their stable

Wouldn’t that be fine
To let live for futures beyond now
And make not food but a friend
Indeed a happier end
