In a contentious and misleading post on social media, JD Vance, the Republican vice-presidential nominee, launched an attack on Vice President Kamala Harris’s support for LGBTQ+ inclusivity. Vance falsely accused Algerian Olympic boxer Imane Khelif of being transgender, causing widespread condemnation and backlash from human rights advocates.

Always blame Russia, even when it is just your old white supremacy that is prevalent in Europe and North America. Do you think the Russians were the reason for the French occupation of Algeria that resulted in millions dead?

You are blaming Russia for the West’s long tradition of white supremacy and racism. Algeria only freed itself from brutal French rule in 1962. Bigotry towards Algerians and North Africans is engrained in France and across Europe.
