For all of its craziness, Texas votes red by about a 5:4 -ish ratio in Presidental-year elections, but because it’s a persistent 5:4, Republicans get all the statewide offices, all the electoral college votes, and all the re-districting committee votes. Trump’s vote percentage was the third lowest of all states that went red in 2020, yet here we are. Ugh.
