Seems he’s back tracking a bit now.
someone asked a loaded question that included the term “genocide” in regards to the conflict, Carney answered thats why we have an arms embargo. Then that suddenly turned into Carney accepting that it was indeed a genocide from which he quickly tried to distance himself. Its just some asshats asking loaded questions to try to stir up shit.
Yes sure, it’s pointless for politicians to make that indictment when they have no intention or interest with prosecution.
It also distracts from actionable issues like civilian deaths, emergency services and healthcare infrastructure being destroyed, the lack of press, sanitation, food supplies, power and water.
