I just want the return of the Mini. Upgrade the display to 4".

You probably want a 5" since displays now go right up to the edge of the body.

No, I want the smaller bezels to enable a smaller physical device that keeps a ~4" screen. Ideally not exceeding the dimensions of the OG iPhone.

That would be roughly 4.6 inches, don’t forget that modern apps don’t work well on very small displays like the UniHertz Jelly.

“Display upgrades” just means a brighter screen. It’s the new thing these manufacturers “upgrade” every year now that resolutions and refresh rates have stabilised across the industry.
