Wait until she’s married and her spouse’s parents are divorced too and now she has 5 or 6 Christmases to go to and she’s completely burned out on the holiday she once loved.

as a child of not divorce but it was normal for parents to be so cold to each other and towards their children, I was confused until your comment.

when I realized I had a good laugh, then realized how fucked I am by not realizing it sooner.
