Don’t worry, it’s just an arrow pointing at the right speed to go through intersections at on the speedometer.

You probably paid for the wrong subscription. Most BMW owners pay for the tailgating subscription, so they can stay as close as possible to the car in front. Just call your dealership and they can change the subscription from indicators to tailgating for only 499€.
