Summary

Trump declared Biden’s pardons “VOID” in a late-night Truth Social post, claiming they were signed by autopen without Biden’s knowledge—despite Trump having used autopen during his first term.

Trump warned pardoned individuals, including January 6th committee members (who weren’t charged with crimes), that they’re “subject to investigation at the highest level.”

Critics characterized his statements as “dictator shit” and questioned their legality, with one commenting this represents “the 17th constitutional crisis of just this weekend alone.”

That’s not how politics works. That’s just sticking your head in the sand.

This is the truth and you should be outraged, but calling truthful reporting “instigating outrage” is insane

This is what “they” want. I get it. I’m right there with you. Find something that you can lean on to help you keep your sanity; a hobby, a new tv show, volunteer to take care of puppies at your local shelter… you need to balance this firestorm before you get burnt out. But no matter what, we need you to keep fighting! We need you!

Edit.

I’m so tired of the news instigating outrage.

Nobody is instigating anything here; the whole thing is just that outrageous.

Uh… You do realize America is becoming fascist right now right? I wonder if German media also hyperfocused on Hitler in the 1930s.

I’m so tired of the news instigating outrage.

Trump’s tyranny itself is what instigates outrage, not the news’ coverage of it.

If he opens that box, then come the next president Trump might finally end up in jail. But nah! Go ahead fucker! Let’s see this get interesting. Like the new ROTC students required to wear KKK hoodies. That wouldn’t be at all sus. We know the guy is out of his mind full dementia empty skull. The world just needs that one last straw.

And may I remind us all how happy Duterte was just a few years ago. Jailing people, murdering, etc. The guy even silenced TFC so Filipinos abroad didn’t need to bother with the stuff he was doing at home. Now he’s in jail. Not easy, pay your way out jail. This is Saddam Hussein hanging jail. The consequences for crimes against humanity need to be real. So just let us enjoy our daily rat race until we too end up in Guantanamo accidentally. Worrying about things that are coming on to others is fruitless. But we should hope that the international court at least gets putin.

You’re optimistic to assume that there will be free elections.

Oh, wait! Saddam went to the iraki court. That’s where he was given his upside down tie to ride one last swing. I propose Duterte checks that out! A tie would look good on him.

Biden had the chance to do that in 2020. He should have arrested Agent Krasnov and his henchmen on the first day of his presidency, and detained them in isolation without bail or access to the media, until their trials were resolved.

Instead he appointed a weak Reoublican as his AG who gave hime a 2 year head start to run out the clock.

The Dems had the perfect chance to rid ourselves of the MAGA scourge, and defend our country, and they totally abdicated their responsibility. It will be 100 times harder to take it back now, and I don’t see it happening without violence.

I remain optimistic. All this has laws to prevent it. Perhaps optimists like me should continue the slow work of politics and truth in speech and writings. Meanwhile as a peaceful person I believe it is your American freedom that is constitutionally legal to free speech and all that that entails.

A law is only a law insofar as it is enforceable. Thus far for this asshole, they haven’t been. There’s no reason to assume that if we just sit back and wait for someone else to deal with it, his luck is suddenly going to change. It might, and I hope it does, but twiddling our thumbs while the world burns doesn’t seem like the best course of action.

LAWS?? THIS MF still thinks LAWS have anything to do with this?

The problem is that the MAGA Nazis are literally traitors, and don’t respect the laws or the courts, and they are starting to defy them in increasingly confrontational ways. They were just ordered to hold the deportations of Venezuelan prisoners to a far-right nation who is known for the brutal treatment and torture of prisoners, and they simply ignored it, and tweeted “Oopsie.”

Following that, Kapo Stephen “PeeWee Himmler” Miller spoke to the press and whined about a judge who represents one geographical region ruling on the administration. Thats how the courts work, whether they like it or not.

The laws you respect, and are optimistic that they will protect you and this country, no longer exist. Like Hitler, one of the first policies he enacted was The Enabling Act, which makes the president the final say on what is law and what isn’t, and that can change from day to day.
