Hey, I found this ‘port’ or ‘socket’ in my glove compartment. I checked the manual and parts list, but could not figure out what this should do. Fingers crossed that is a bulbsocket! Anyone know what this is??

Thanks for sharing, I have to get my periodic vehicle inspection at the end of this month, I’ll ask my shop’s mechanic to get some confirmation.

Looks like it could be some sort of early accessory/power port.

That’s where you pour in your turn signal fluid.

I’d have to flip the car or reverse gravity to do that. So, probably, next week I can test this

Toyota Starlet EP90, the 73 horsejuice one. It has only 4 prongs, but from videos it looks like the OBD port is under the hood. Original owner no longer alive to tell us the story.

fyi “OBD” connector (DLC - Data Link Connector) is a 16pin connector & is supposed to be accessible from drivers seat. This could possibly be the OEM diagnostic port. If so it might be CAN -
