This, but it’s very temperamental. Normally end up having to switch between 2-3 for a given match, and many of the best quality ones freeze and have to restart. Also, the comments boxes adjacent to all these streams are generally pretty toxic and strange. I miss the days of Bloodzeed and TorrentStream lol.

Yeah! There has been NO* fix for this. I don’t think I’ve watched one Real Madrid match without switching streams. Especially the CDR matches, which have no telecast here where I live.

Plus footybite.com, which seems to be a copycat, but I can never work out which one yet they both have working streams - one more so than the other. Unfortunately, web site streaming is always hit n miss, and the sheer number of streams listed on these sites makes it harder to find good ones.

Sad they phased out the Ace Stream links (from back when it was r/soccerstreams), coz the tech is pretty impressive and works at scale. If you can hunt down the Ace Stream ID for a particular channel, you can get really good quality streams.

I miss Ace and the old Bloodzeed streams. Didn’t know it was still being used

Beat me to it. My only issue with it (and I’m sure every stream has this issue) is that big matches like World Cup freeze frequently. I’ve had surprisingly few such gripes during these women’s World Cup matches, but so far I’ve only watched a few group stage matches. Semis and finals will almost certainly have issues.

IPTV is the answer. It’s so much more convenient than searching for streams to find one which doesn’t buffer.

I think to the uninitiated it’s a bit of a minefield. Are there guides to the best providers, and ones you can subscribe to using anonymous forms of payment?

Word of mouth is the only way I’ve got in to it tbh. I can’t share mine here without doxxing myself sadly.

The service I used to use shut down about six months ago and I’m yet to find a good replacement. So if anyone wants to put some words in my mouth (ugh, not sure I should have gone with that phrase) I’ll gladly accept. Seems like most of the “recommended” ones are referrals to scams, or have weird limitations (like not making the M3Us available, so you can’t hook in to Plex, for example).

Yeah I’ve heard this before. I have a friend who got one, word of mouth in his case too. It works well for him and it’s tempting to try, but (a) he’s one of the least tech savvy people I know, so his recommendation counts for little, and (b) the service plays badly with Nord and he was advised to get SurfShark, which I don’t fancy doing. (And in my jurisdiction, VPN usage would be strongly advisable.)
