I’m a huge fan, Rincewind is one of my fav characters. I think they can just be read in publishing order, whilst characters and some plot lines do crossover each book is a story on its own.

Colour of Magic is a perfect starting point imho.

They’re intended to be standalone stories. I usually just go in release order though.
