I hate when they call people activists just for trying to do the right thing against a corrupt government

It’s the correct term. The bad thing is that it apparently has a negative connotation.

That is intentional. The same corporations that lobby the govt to pass legislation that let’s them do whatever they want also lobby the govt to make protest and activism seem like a bad thing.

I mean just look at how people react to protestors gluing themselves to roads or handcuffing themselves to machines or whatever. They’re almost universally seen as problem causers because all anyone else sees is someone wasting their time.

The term activist has a good connotation with me, but there are certainly ones who take things too far and give others a bad name. Totally depends on what they’re doing and why.

“It’s not surprising that activists are taking the time to send false reports,” Birkeland said. “But that isn’t a distraction from the importance of the legislation and the protection it provides women across Utah.”

This asshole thinks trans women aren’t women. He can suck a fuck.

LGBTQ+ rights advocates also have warned the law and the accompanying tip line give people license to question anyone’s gender in community spaces, which they argue could even affect people who are not trans.

Their warnings were amplified earlier this year when a Utah school board member came under fire — and later lost her reelection bid — for publicly questioning the gender of a high school basketball player she wrongly assumed was transgender.

I remember reading about that shithead’s comments. Glad to know she lost her job because of it.

well trans men are gonna have a hard time using the stand-up-pisser. I guess trans women won’t have that issue since women’s restrooms offer no convenience-pissing solution for women but still.

I think you’re getting a little too pumped up over this

The simple protest that will eventually end this is to smash urinals. Once businesses get fed up replacing them all bathrooms will become stall only. Then it truly doesn’t matter which bathroom anyone goes into.

A small cup of fast-setting plaster should suffice. Less effort, less noise.
