Social Media fool on multiple platforms. I tend to talk about #Fediverse :fediverse: and it’s nuances. Also post #AIart using #Midjourney from time to time. I am your typical hippie and :weed: smoker. Follow me for a variety of topics like #gaming; comments and opinions on tech news; World news opinions; occasional self-loathing and #depression messages. VERY #ADHD. Sometimes my thoughts aren’t organized. If this isn’t your thing, just keep moving, or block, I really don’t care :) #fedi22 tfr

@tom@tomkahe.com @ThaMunsta@nervesocket.com it should send delete requests to every instance that it was sent to. It should know that because my server has to actually send the post. Maybe I’m misunderstanding things but this seems like it should be an easy thing to do.

@tom 🤷‍♂️I received the reply like nothing was wrong. Except the reply doesn’t look like a reply on my end.

I deleted the post that this is replying to.

You won’t find it on my instance. Yet, there it is.

Not sure what it is, but it doesn’t feel good.

@mackuba @Blaze @fediverse that’s what I said, no? just in more words.🤷‍♂️

And yeah, my opinion is mixed in, but I figured that should be obvious. Maybe I should put *opinion* somewhere in there?🤔

Most of it is true, with my opinion in 2 or 3 sentences.

@xnx I certainly cannot. I’m on my own instance and there’s like 20,000 instances. Someone can *attempt* to yeet me. They’ll have a hell of a time getting admin privileges to all instances though.

@Cock_Inspecting_Asexual you can try Mbin. It’s the only other alternative, but the layout is very similar.😬

UI is very subjective, but Reddit’s is not really enjoyed by the masses since it changed 5-10 years ago, so I’m guessing that these UIs are trying to appeal to those people who don’t like Reddits “new” corporate looking UI.🤷‍♂️

@xnx to each their own.

The anarchist in me doesn’t feel right having a corporate overlord who can :yeet: me from existence whenever they choose.🤷‍♂️

That’s not important to everyone and that’s fine. We are all different.

@xnx well, it doesn’t really matter their reasoning when the end result is the same.

It won’t become truly decentralized with these things in the way.
