I’m aware of the phrase’s meaning. It’s not being used this way from what I can tell.

Seems to me that conservative policy is the status quo. Almost by definition, ‘conserving’ the way things are, or what they believe it is. As a general trend, the us has leaned much more conservative. This is the status quo.

Changing, progressive policy is literally antithetical to the status quo. A woman in office is not the current state. So why do people say that the dem candidate is the status quo if that makes no sense?

I keep hearing this ‘status quo’ excuse but no one ever explains what the fuck that’s supposed to even mean.

I’m sure the corporate farmers were happy to buy up that land and cut the trump admin a nice check for the convenience.

He said he is free to use it how he wants and you said he’s free to use it how he wants. Weird disparity in votes for that one.

Hunger, fatigue, general negative state of mind maybe.

This particular guy was a contract worker who came in for an early lunch, so I assume they’d been working for some hours before they came in.

Generally the blue collar worker dudes and the after church crowd were the meanest with the least tolerance for mistakes.

I worked fast food for 3 years. Literally had a guy throw a burger at me because it was missing cheese.
