I spoke with a kestrel once (a type of bird) and they asked what people consume in general to be able to have this notion

Haha dude, I was a MAJOR contributor on Reddit. I spent HOURS each day posting fresh new content for people to read on various subreddits.

Drop in an ocean or not, if all the content creators stop doing it, the content stops.

Imagine YouTube without LinusTechTips, or Hollywood without any actors. They are, as you say “a drop in the bucket”, a tiny percentage of overall YouTube users.

But that doesn’t matter because most people on Reddit and TV viewers, are passive consumers. The statistics showed that less than one half of users were actually logged in, and a third or less ever posted anything (non-comments).

Trust me, Reddit is hurting. They haven’t won. They think they’ve won but that’s just shock and adrenaline before it wears off.

The users are the content, and if they all leave, there’s nothing left. Digg and MySpace know this.

I’m the subscription thinker. Apparently only people with Quora+ can see my posts. I mainly boost people’s confidence.

I’m some sort of uh, *con-*man. 😎

How can that be true when nearly every command asks for root, including regular system updates? E.g: Sudo apt-get upgrade

Now that you mentioned it, it does bother me, but it might have been on purpose.

BMW stands for Benelli (?) Motor Werk(s), so essentially it’s:

(Location) -space- (Factory Type)

At least that’s my assumption for it, because otherwise, it being Nazi Germany, if that was a typographical error, the person stamping those would probably be shot

There was a pirated copy of “We are the Champions” by Queen circulating LimeWire and Kazaa circa 2003 that’s given a generation of people mental whiplash.

Some hooligan thought it would be funny to splice/cut/edit “of the world” at the end of the song, so it concludes with “We are the champions” (jump cut / obvious splice) “of the wooooorld.”

There’s entire threads out there dedicated to finding that copy of the song because millions of people have heard it, but no one makes the connection between the hostile actors modifying those songs and sharing them on file-sharing applications versus the originals.

There were also numerous garage band covers circulating around also - “Smells like Teen Spirit” by Nirvana was a popular one to hear in extremely low quality with someone banging spoons or something.

Naz remembers.
