You probably paid for the wrong subscription. Most BMW owners pay for the tailgating subscription, so they can stay as close as possible to the car in front. Just call your dealership and they can change the subscription from indicators to tailgating for only 499€.

I had a similar issue. I solved it by clearing the storage/cache for the Jerboa app, then signing back in.
