I knew a Arch guy who called it Sys-dumb-d. He refused to run systemd.

I could mostly care less. It’s…fine. I miss upstart and it’s simplicity. Kind of wish it had been actually developed to maturity, but here we are with an init system that also wants to do DNS.

I built a new PC with the intention of adding a second drive for Windows. It’s been two weeks of gaming and I haven’t gotten around to it yet. Might never.

I used Now for Reddit for years. Was a great app. Somehow it’s still working. Must not be big enough for Reddit to kill.

I pay for Netflix, but only the ad-supported tier now. My wife uses it to discover new shows, then I download copies of it for my Plex media library.

Unless you have a financial reason not to, it’s a great gaming device. Love mine and currently am playing Breath of the Wild and then Tears of the Kingdom on it to see what the fuss is all about.

I stopped using Windows and converted to Linux. I’m not going to be “one of those people” and tell you that you should too, but I’ve been using Linux full-time for 3 years for gaming, work, and personal stuff and never felt the need to go on Windows except to use my VR headset, which I haven’t used in months. I just built a new PC and haven’t even bothered installing my Windows SSD into it in the last 4 weeks since I built it. I may never and just sell my VR headset.
