Either way, get to know your neighbors. Form or join community gardens. Start a neighborhood watch or cleanup action. Go to your local civic board and government meetings. Elect people who represent you and your interests locally at the mayor and state rep level.

Then run a left leaning independent with messaging packaged for them to agree with. A lot on the right wanted Sanders in 2016. Medicare/Medicaid for all. Tax breaks for working families and raising taxes on corporations and the ultra wealthy.

Likely as not Chinese companies will profit through shell corporations and NGOs rebuilding Russia and Ukraine. The US could’ve but they dismantled USAID and are actively courting Russian interests in the region.
