most pokemon are like blatantly sapient in the anime. the only reason it’s not ok to get it down with a pokemon is because none of them know how to talk or properly communicate (but can learn apparently, see Meowth) (Also the insane power differential of normalizing pokemon as literal slaves makes it sus) which means the leaked lore doc isn’t really beastiality. but of course game freak aren’t going to point this out in any sort of official statement for obvious reasons

yes this means Team Rocket Meowth passes the harkness test. You’re welcome.

I assume Jesse, James, and Meowth are all in the same polycule

which means the leaked lore doc isn’t really beastiality

catch 22 as that would disappoint the target demographic for those leaks

There is a large enough group of people who genuinely think beastiality is hot and specifically because animals can’t consent to be economically relevant?

Thankfully there is not.

Well, it’s even weirder because, if I understood what I read correctly, the Typhlosion was the only party that really could consent. It talked to the girl both in a shifted human form and in its real form. The girl I can only assume was underage because they kept calling her a girl. So the Typhlosion was the real creeper. Also this took place in some ancient era where the boundary between Pokemon and humans was blurred. It has Japanese youkai vibes for sure. I don’t know about the other stories, though, I only heard the Typhlosion one.

I’ve always had to restrain myself on pointing out that boning some Pokemon is infinitely less problematic that raising them to fight. Alakazam is smarter than its trainer as a general rule and a lot of these ghost types and legendaries are just people.

Ultimately I just don’t think very hard on these things when playing my overpriced pet simulator. And I still think the Poke Pelago is way less messed up than the solitary confinement of a Pokeball, but again, I digress.
