Like for example the default search for communities should be All due to the confusion of search results only popping up with internal instance communities. I worked it out noticing no @ but most newbies will get confused and see jangled messes of community and instance addresses.
I’ve learned that no matter how nice people seem, they can still fuck you over when money is involved.
Invested quite a lot of money and they chose to remove all contact with me after I told them I wouldn’t bail out their debt.
So lesson learned. Absolutely make people accountable for their managerial actions every single day before they throw a business into debt. And get out if they show red flags of fucking up.
I’m using xfce. It’s on endeavros as I like to belong to the arch crowd without working with the lengthly set up from scratch.
I prefer xfce as anything of note is accessible with a few minor exceptions due to endeavros security concerns such as Bluetooth which requires a quick systemctl command.
I started off with it after discovering ubuntu and trying the xfce version. I liked it and went through a few distros including crunchbang with openbox but ultimately xfce is a very straightforward experience for me and fairly customisable. The only drawback is it doesn’t look like some of the awesome screenshots I’ve seen of i3 or other tiling managers but as a teacher I don’t do development or have that much knowledge to tinker so xfce is my go-to.
I don’t know much but one recent comment suggested that the users interacting with other communities causes those posts and communities to appear on the feed. If there are only two of you, I presume the only posts you’ll see are those you both subscribed to (in server/all). Perhaps I’m wrong and ‘all’ will show up any old posts.
I’m a smoker (expat in China) and the first thing I recall having my first smoke after 5 days was ‘This tastes like I have ashes in my mouth.’
With COVID I was having a fever and just wanted to sleep for most of the time.
Other than that I noticed food didn’t taste much at all but I wasn’t bothered. Just fuel.
There’s no karma so what’s the point. It’s a bit of a dopamine chase anyway.
