can you please provide a URL or youtube video or anything with the claims you are describing? For the third time the code to generate the website is open source, if they have some other parts that are not open source which parts are you talking about ?
It’s not about being naive it’s about you evading the questions and making claims based on some theories heard on internet. I would rather prefer to see these claims, just so I can understand better why people are throwing garbage at a website that is simply providing a better user experience than X is doing at the moment.
I asked you about the code and you didn’t reply, just to name one, many companies like Meta have some code that is open source like React but like many other things are proprietary but they are indicated on their website if they are proprietary or not.
can you please be more specific ? What proprietary parts you found ? Did you read the code ? Again code is open source and anyone can read it and modify it, there is no proprietary, the license used is MIT not another weird license that limit the code from being used for other purposes like commercial stuff
I don’t think it will go down the same path as Twitter, since Bluesky is open source and available on Github other devs will have the possibility to improve it or create a better version of it but with the more users joining it might necessary to monetize it to better cover the costs. I would love to see everyone switching to the Fediverse but it’s not very intuitive for the average end user with the instances and the fact that you need to target a user and an instance to follow it
Google is fighting a war that it can’t win, people in general had enough of all these ads.
Whenever I can, I use a DNS or an adblocker or an open source app that it doesn’t track his users.
I started to learn OpenGL a few months ago and it is the recommended library to learn because most of the steps in the pipeline are already managed by OpenGL itself. You still need to code some steps but nothing too complicate, even to render a basic triangle in Vulkan is cumbersome so at the same time is easier to screw up and then understanding the root cause in the pipeline since you have to do a lot of stuff by yourself.
