You’re forgetting that 22 is probably instant speed, which means ballista is dead before it can combo off. So white needs something else to win because strategically black is better with the extra rooks.

Have you considered bribery? The drugs may improve performance, but they’re addictive, and expensive. That gun could go for a fair amount of money.
